“The Proposal”

I needed something light after a dense tree book, binge watching “Tiger King,” and the fact that the world is on lockdown. Nothing on my bookshelf jumped out at me, so I opened my Libby app to see what was available.

The Proposal jumped out at me because I had heard of The Wedding Date and liked the cover. I read the synopsis and I was sold.

It’s a cute love story with fun characters. I’m not usually a fan of “romance” books, but this was just a nice break from the heavy of the world.

If you’re looking for a cute, easy read, look no further. Took me only a few days to read it.

(Also – you’ll be seeing this leaf blanket for the foreseeable future. Quarantine in springtime in Michigan is chilly.)
