A chilly summer Sunday morning I thought to myself “I’d like a book I can’t put down. I want to escape into page-turning fiction today.” The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager did NOT disappoint.
I’m not one to read thrillers. I’m the kind of person who has to watch or read anything remotely creepy in the day and must watch something funny for a while to cleanse my brain. At one point in the day the sky went dark and it started to rain. I thought about putting the book down because it was creeping me out.
This book had me on the edge of my seat until the very last page. I loved it. If you want a page-turning thriller set at a summer camp, pick up this book. I already leant out my copy to a friend because I knew she’d love it….and selfishly I need someone to talk to about all the surprises along the way.
