Normal People by Sally Rooney is a book I saw everywhere for a while. Friends said they were watching the show on Hulu, it kept popping up as suggested reads on Instagram, and more. I finally checked it out from Libby as I was browsing the “What’s Available?” section of the app.
Reading this book felt like taking an easy stroll in the park. Despite there being some relational drama, it wasn’t a book I HAD to go read, or something that kept me turning the pages. It was a good follow up to reading the thriller One by One.
If you enjoy a will-they-or-won’t-they romance with some quirky characters that spans the years, give this one a go.
