After reading The Last Time I Lied I knew any time I wanted an un-put-down-able thriller full of unexpected twists I just needed to pick up any book by Riley Sager. That led me to Final Girls.
I’m not a scary movie watcher so the concept of a “final girl” was new to me. If it’s a new concept to you too, it’s a term for the women in horror films who are the last one standing. This book centers on a woman who was the lone survivor after a bunch of her friends were killed in a cabin in the woods.
Her memory is spotty of what happened that night and she prefers to keep it that way, but another “final girl” shows up in her life and turns it upside down. I’ll leave you with that, but I loved the twists and turns of this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
